I just received my machine and it is not working properly, what should I look for.

I often have people call me the first day they get their machine, saying it’s not sorting correctly. I even had a guy recall his payment once saying it was “Significantly not as described” as you can imagine I was really wondering what happened.

I contacted the customer, and discovered that it was not sorting correctly because he thought the “reference coin” was a jammed coin. He had removed the sample coin, and of course now the comparator has nothing to compare too, so it simply cannot work properly, and jams constantly and accepts/rejects coins at will.   Do not mistake your reference (sample) coin for a jammed coin.
There are a few other things that have happened, but are very rare.  If a machine is grossly mishandled in shipping, it can bend, break or the parts can even move slightly.  If you suspect your machine was mishandled, please contact us right away.

Reference coin and sensitivity adjust.   MAKE SURE YOUR MACHINE HAS A REFERENCE COIN IN THE HOLDER OR IT WILL NOT WORK.
